Dads are always fascinated by the latest gizmos and gadgets, as well as all kinds of tools they may or may not use.  Here are a few fun ideas to keep your dad feeling like a member of the cool crowd this Christmas season.

• Golf Equipment – golf is a great sport for those dads who lament not being as fast as they once were, if he doesn’t have a golf set, buy him one, or buy some accessories for his existing set.

Super Football Nachos

Here’s a recipe for some excellent nachos suited for football playoffs or the Super Bowl in a couple months.  In addition to the ingredients, you’ll need some microwave cookware and a standard kitchen knife.

Ingredients:

• ½ pound grated cheese
• 1 pound tortilla chips
• 1 jalapeno
• ½ cup salsa or guacamole
• 1 can pitted black olives

Directions:

Chop the jalapeno and black olives into fine chunks.  Take your microwave cookware, and spread a layer of tortilla chips.  Cover the layer of tortilla chips with the grated cheese, chopped jalapeno and olives, and salsa.  Repeat with additional layers until ingredients are diminished.  Place cookware in the microwave, and set on HIGH for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
